After earning his Masters in screenwriting at the University of Southern California, Brad began in Hollywood as a story development associate producer Michael Phillips (“The Sting”, “Taxi Driver”, “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”). He next became assistant to talent manager and film producer Phyllis Carlyle (“The Accidental Tourist”, “Seven”) as first-point contact with Carlyle’s roster of clients which included John Malkovich, Pierce Brosnan, Andy Garcia, Gena Davis, Salma Hayek and directors Danny Boyle, Paul Anderson, Robert Rodriguez and Doug Liman. While at Carlyle, Brad developed projects for first-look deals with Miramax, Showtime, HBO and in partnership with New Line Cinema. He moved on to become Lead Copywriter for Werndorf and Associates of Los Angeles in the design of major marketing campaigns for clients including HBO, Columbia Pictures and TriStar, executing multiple campaigns for films including, “Men in Black”, “Starship Troopers”, “Ghosts of Mississippi” and “Sense and Sensibility”. Crafted high-profile print campaigns appearing in Variety, People and other national publications for the HBO series: “The Larry Sanders Show”, “The Dennis Miller Show”, “The Tracey Ulman Show” and HBO’s “Boxing After Dark”. His original screenplays were commissioned and purchased by producer Eli Samaha, Britain’s Tartan Films and the Walt Disney Company.
